Here is an early season brookie I got on December30

I hope to get a lot of ice time this year and have some good reports. We have a ton snow and there is more and more ice everyday. A lot of places are safe to fish in my area but if you don't know the body of water you should be safe and ask a local fisherman advice and always chcek your ice first. The snowmobile trails are groomed and lots of fun riding in the area. There will be fishing tournaments on Moosehead lake and surounding lakes throughout the winter if anyone is interested in comming to Moosehead I can help out. toss me a line and I will help anyway I can.
Jake
PS Lee I changed the link on my page Thanks for the heads up. I will be around more often

Hi Jake
Nice trout. Finally, someone besides Mike & I have pics of real fish.
Not those 5-6 inch ones that Dave V and Lee manage to dip up with
their boiling kettles..
I realize you have been a member here for a while.....but in case I
forgot...WELCOME ABOARD.

Stephen

Jake

Thanks for the link update and glad to see you back on the site, love those pictures you have. By the way that is a nice looking brookie, where did you get him/her what ever the case may be. Would love to have you post a fishing story using the "Add a Story" option, if you are so inclined to do so let me know and I will add you to the admin area so you can edit your stories. I can also give you some tips on adding a story with pictures and/or video.

Jake

You will always be considered a good user of the forum.

Just to let you know I have added you to the Story Admin group, you will now see a new menu on the left side of the page "Admins Only" and stories is one of the options. If you want to add a story go to that link and use the "Create a New Story" link to start a new story. The first thing is to give the story a title then select the topic from the drop down list, most likely a "Fishing Story". The first big edit box is the summery area or intro to the story that shows when the story shows on the home page. Then the second big edit box is where you enter the story. Go to the "Site How To's" to see how you add a picture from one of your albums on the site. Play with it a little to get the hang of it. One suggestion is to make the story a draft (check box on edit page). Then the story does not publish and you can then click on the title to display it for your pleasure to make sure all is as you expect. If you see what you like then uncheck the draft mode and we will all see the story. If it is worthy then I will make it featured and it will show on the home page for awhile. If you need more help just holler and we will help.

See Yah
