 Brandon,

I love this last picture.  Although it lacks a fish as a focal point it is beautiful none the less.

I dunno about Ziggy & company, but I slab em, cut out the rib cage, and skin em. Then make up a Tempura batter and coat the fillets good in the batter. Then fry the fillets to a golden wonderful in some vegtable oil.  Salt the bageez out of em soon as you pull em out of the oil when they're vulenerable.  A man ain't never had anything as good.

When Craig Morroco was the field fish cop down in the Jaffery area we used to pound a pond just outside of town, and it was fulla yellas, kivers, and crappies. Craig always visited when he saw us there as his chops watered when he saw a crappie. We used to slide him a few as we usually has a canoe full of fish.

Back in those days we had a good hundred pounds of fillets in the freezer by the time the snow flew. Seemed like the more we caught the more there was. I think them pan fish breed faster n rabbits

Just go to the picture in the forum and right click on it, then select "Save Picture As" and put it on your computer where ever you want and give it a file name.  Its easy.  Then you don't have to wait on Ziggy.

See Yah

Nice photo's  Zig.  I love the crappie . Makes for great eating. Best eating fish next to walleye and catfish in my book.  I used to catch them in the 2 pound plus category back in Valdosta Ga.   Would fillet them up , coat them in beer batter  deep fired golden brown . Served with hush puppies and a slice of lemon a glass of sweat tea . Doesn't get any better then that

Well the fishing marathon has come to a slow..... my buddy Randy, although i don't think he wanted to, ended up headed home to MD yesterday early morning , We had a Blast doing a bunch of stuff lots of fishing and some hiking looking for some moose sheds and some small trees he can convert into walking sticks he found 4-5 good blanks to make up some. We fished for Trout , Pike, and pan fish we went to 7 diffrent locations caught fish at each spot . Pike fishing was slow but we managed a couple and some small perch, trout were hungry the day we went many flags and 3 landed all nice bows 12-14" . The prize was the crappie place we found and helped the population a little by taking about 30 fish for the table .. all in all great fishing adventure with many memories and story's to share , getting to meet clay the guy that is after his quest to catch and eat all the NH fish species(http://64.182.91.80/) was cool,  i was happy he caught his 1st ever Pike it was too bad it was 3" too short for the quest but he caught one on his 1st trip out not easy to do, so that was good accomplishment for himself and I  . There should be many more trips in the future was great to meet up with Theron and get some fish the weather was not great minus 2 or so and windy makes for tuff night .....

I also will put in a couple of pics of my new Bait tank , my Buddy made it up for me, made a board with 2 bubble machinces for oxygen and 2 stones and plenty of hose , he had these med sized Foam coolers used for shipping meat it works Sweet.

Here are some pics of the trips around the state chasing some fish enjoy :

Beautiful sunrise along the way to one place (Winnasquam Lake)

One of his Bows.....

Nice place was quiet no many fishing ...

Then we decided to try for some pan fish .....

nice sun set on lake pemi....

Long walk out to the spot ...
