You guys are something else! When I figure out if it is a boy or a girl, I'll be sure to let you know, but I believe reading somewhere the odds were about 51% male and 49% female.
Boy or girl she'll be getting her hands dirty and learning a thing or two about fishing. I can only hope that my child and I will share interests. If they end up like their mother, they will be easy to raise and fine children, but not exceptionally entertaining from my perspective. I hope to learn as much as I have to offer the child currently. Hobbies and things that I have never even dreamt of.
You see I love to learn, and hope the child shares that hunger with me. I will be even more so ecstatic if they take to fishing as I have and especially fly fishing. I'm hoping they take to the great Outdoors in general. Fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, and biking would be great things to do with your children in my opinion. I just hope there is time for all that between all the other things in life. I know I'll make some, but enough? Is there ever enough?

Hard call there Dave regarding the fly tying. I'm thinking a nice mobile over the crib with all the trout species, a salmon, and a lake trout. We gotta ask Lee about shutting Theron out of a thread so we can plan the assault.......I mean the attack....er...ahhhh, Hell, you know what I mean
Way I see it, her Pa being into the fly tying should be able to handle that end of it. We'll get a thread going that he can't see because he'll be jumping on the Mrs belly trying to get the hatchling out early so he can play with the stuff we'll send. I'm thinking of springing for a Renzetti style rotary vise. Maybe somebody has a cape or two they could spare. I have over 20,000 #16 and #14 dry fly hooks sitting here, guess a thousand of each would keep him busy for a spell with the new arrival.
Sooner we get a name we can start working the ad campaign. "A new Fly Fishing Legend is born". She'll have all the grace that Lee don't have casting. ( That outa get him off vacation in a hurry

Yes Sir Mr Dave, we'll get this youngster of to a proper start! I can see in the future, her own line of fly rods and her own reality show called Trout Hugger
