 A two piece 6 - 3 makes for good travel . I have a one piece travel a bit harder but  I am OK with that . Sweet rod you have there by the way . Thumbup

Dave, I don't know what kind of reel it is.  The only markings I have found are a "made in usa" stamped on the bottom of the reel seat.  I picked it up at a yard sale for 5 bucks, took it home, cleaned it up, works great and balances the rod very well.  I got it spooled up with cortlan sylk, casts like a dream.

I tried out a nice two piece  2wt  at the Western Maine show that.drfts into my thoughts from time to time.....

 

i think I will bring the boo with me this weekend when I fish with Lee, that or my 1wt...too many choices.
