Koda went into the backing a couple times about 50 yards never emptied it , reel holds 200+ yards to start with but fishing from a drift boat as soon as it looked like he was getting out there the guide started rowing. Going down thru the rapid water standing up with the fish was fun. Guide was awsome, really knew what he was doing. Would recommend him and the other guy in a minute, both worked hard all day, honestly can't say enough about them. Dave I know you live in SD and I don't know how far it is to Orofino but I can tell you it is worth the drive or flight. I would love to return there some day I actually might have to put it back in the middle of my bucket listLaughing Out Loud

Nice to see you got the upper fin on those steelies Bill.  Any fish is a good fish on a fly rod, but when you get into them like that it's just pure Heaven!
