I had no trouble floating that dry Lee, although you are correct the hackle is over sized. I will take that into consideration my next time at the tying bench. Thank you for the pointer.
No Problem my friend, thats the purpose of the site and people like you, Thanks to you and all the members for making this the best site for Fishing Info and stories.

I do what I can! And it is thanks to people here and some others not necessarily on this sight, but especially Ziggy that I have begun to develop into a confident angler.
I have recently thanked Brandon for this and hope you all will accept my gratitude as well.
I was not a very good fisherman of any kind before I took on fly fishing, and although I would not call myself a good fly fisherman, the days of getting skunked seem to be getting further and further between. So I must be doing something right.
Thanks again folks! And tight lines all around!

I think it is awesome that I was able to share it with my brother as well.
I am also very glad that you folks enjoyed the tale. I enjoyed going and reliving it as I typed it all up.
The Pemi and I have some serious lost time to make up over the next couple of years. I see there is definitely potential for some seriously monsterous fish to come out of there, and I did know that the state record rainbow was pulled from there at lik 35" and like 15lbs, on a mickey finn tandem fly in fact. A tid bit I remembered from some reading a friend gave me.
Man would I love to land a fish like that!!!!
