I don't know about Nics', but mine is too dang unruly to make any type of presentable fly Dave Laughing Out Loud

Howsomever, a buddy of mine in Merrimack NH does in fact tie flies from the hair off his Bermise Mountain dog and slays the trout on the Souhegan River with them.

The flies look pretty cool, but at the price of those dogs #1 Metz Capes are a lot cheaper! Surprised

Nice photos!Big Grin  I enjoyed looking at them, at reading your short tail.

To date, I have seen little of the world.  My bubble includes, NY, VT, NH,MA, and ME, with several trips to montreal in my childhood, one to Toronto by bus, and a hunting trip into the far north of Quebec.  I hope to someday retire... maybe and see some more of what this planet has to offer.  I love history and culture and some things just need to be seen rather than confined to the pages of a book and a wild imagination.

P.S. the beard envy is just too much!  Laughing Out Loud
