Kype

Thanks for starting this thread, people should be aware that there is a forum for the "Wild Trout and Small Stream Discussed Here".  Another route for you and others is to post an Article under the topic of "Fishing Stories".  It is easy to do and I will post a quick post in this thread on how to do it.  I will make all the new users "Story Submitters" so all you need to do is click on "Submit an Article" to get started.  But wait until I can get a few instructions up for you guys.  Maybe by later today if I can sneak a little time her at work.

Thanks again for starting this Kype.

See Yah

Thanks

Lee

Lee If I were on my game I would have posted it in the right section but the drugs they have given me are kick butt! Smile

If you can move it to the proper section I don't think any of us would mind.  Thanks again for providing a space for the Small Stream Angler to enjoy.

I understand the other channel gave you a hard time when you asked if it was to be offered there?  Is that right?

If so it is there loss and I am delighted to have the space here.  I believe others feel the same.  Thanks again for your sensitivity to the needs of posters.

Guys, thank you all for the concern for my knee and it will take time to get back on the stream, no doubt about it.  I found 3 holes in my knee and the doc told me there was far more damage than she thought.  I hope to get better before the close of the season and get together with the bunch of you for some fly fishing and make a plan for winter activities.  Thanks again all!  Now let's see more of those beautiful fall brook trout! Smile

I have moved the thread to the Wild Trout and Small Stream forum.  Yes they gave me a hard time and would not create the forum.  What we need to do is encorrage the others that showed interest to come over here, lets all give this a try.

Now to the double posting you seem to be getting Kype.  What are you doing to cause this do you know so I can help??  For now i will deleted the double posts for you.

See Yah

Thanks

Lee

Kype hope all goes well with the knee recovery. A victim myself of 3 surgeries and some screws and well enough said. To me there is nothing prettier than a wild brook trout. I was lucky enough to fish with Lee over the past two years and one of them we chased brookies in streams that years ago I could have jumped across. Some of these things were only 4 to 6 inches long but the colors. Check out Joels story on the home page the last pic is a beauty and not sure but a good chance that bamboo in the pic was made by him.

I think he means his mouse is malfunctioning.  If I hadn't given my spare to my mother I'd have been happy to ship him that one.  BUt unfortunately I have nothing to offer currently.

OK Guys here are the simple instructions on how to "Submit an Article".  First click on the option in the INFORMATION Menu.  After the editor comes up you should click on the Draft option so you can work on the story and get it complete before you publish it.  You will see that you ahve two sections to a story, the Intro and the Body.  The intro needs to be about one paragraph long describing what the story is about.  Do the real story in the Body section.  Use my "Wild Brrok Trout and a Birthday" as an example.  Don't use the bold text or different sizes at the beginning, wait till you are done then make the text larger you want larger and Bold.  Post your photo's that you want for the story in an album of yours, here on "Lee's Fishing Page".  Use this tool the Media Gallery Tag to place the photo's in the story.  Use a width size of 250, no need to figure out height, the program does that for you.  Select "Media" and the photo you want and follow the other info in the HELP area.  Place the pictures using Align "Left" the "Right", and so forth in the story,  Also be sure to use "Link" of "Lightbox" and pick "Display" as the source for both options that ask for this.  Continue writing and place enough text between photo's so they space nicely on the page.  When you are done then change the Font size and Bold that text you need this done to.  Select the text and then the options you want.  Last uncheck the "Draft" option and make sure the publish date is correct, do not select any other options and the story will show on the home page under the Forum listing.  Each time a newer story is posted your story will move down, I keep 20 stories active on the home page, the featured story and 4 others on page one and 5 more on each of the next 3 pages.  You use the links at the bottom of the home page to move to the next page.

Hope this helps and I do hope someone will give it a try, we can always fix it up if you make a mistake.

See Yah

Thanks

Lee
