Keep at it, looks like that is the way to go and make sure you have a clean site. You will be better off in the long run.

I fish I was holding was probably about 20 lb,. Picture taken by a friend. Was alone the second day so I was not able to get a pic out of the water. I did tail it to release it and think it was a little bigger that the other.
Stephen, we will get your memories fixed next spring.
Have added another csught by my friend. Both mine were larger.

Nice 20 pounder . That is pretty darn cool . Stephen I know how you feel. My dang wrist is killing me and that pretty much ended my casting to any trout for a few weeks on hold.
