Now that was nice to hear. Got our power back yesterday around 2pm. We were out for 4 1/2 days. There still are a lot out in NH, 100,000 or more as of this morning. Maine is mostly back with just a few thousand still out.

To add insult to injury we are now getting snow, maybe 3 - 6 inches by late afternoon. But the real kicker is another storm on Friday (4-8) and another Sunday into Monday (this is a nor'easter) and will give us a big snow fall.

WINTER is HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Setting up just like last year.

You aint got to tell me its winter woke up to 20F below zero a couple of days ago and last night went to bed when it was 5 below . Calling for 16 below Sat morning. We may not have snow but it sure is bone chilling cold. They say global waring will make things colder at the end and bring on an ice age. Well Rapid Creek is frozen over. I havent seen that in a few years. I'm not sure but I think its the beginging of the ice age number two. Didnt Lousiana get 7 inches of snow the other day.?

PS Young Fellla thats a good one. Mr. Green Mike said he might need glasses . Laughing Out Loud Just kidding Lee Glad you got your power back on. Praying for the rest who don't . Wish I could turn that snow on back here all this cold has pushed the snow away. Dave V

Hope you don't get what the folks down from you got. What are they saying on the radio ? Is this going to be a bad one to ? Crazy weather this year for sure. Dave V

Glad to hear that all is well Lee, it's sounding like the big ice storm of 98 again. 10 straight days of feeezing rain stretching from Ontario to the Maritimes, with Quebec being hardest hit and I'm sure that New England got that one as well. Makes me glad to have a wood stove as my main source of heat, between that and the BBQ and coleman stove I think that we could hold out here for a long time with no power.

Sounds good Lee!
Do you ever come down for any of the FF shows in NH/Mass that are coming up? Maybe we could meet up at one of them. BTW I'm going to have a booth at the Rockingham Hunting & Fishing Show (Salem, NH) in Jaunuary.
