nice report and pics I haven't fished for them , but when down striper fishing this past summer I caught one on the fly rod didn't know what it was had to ask the others around that were fishing it was fun they get pretty big .
Sounds like a lot of fun! I'll have to try that some day if ever I have any free time again.
