Can't say I blame you. It would be awesome to be so close to those big boys

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

I'll fish for the warm water species especially during the dog days of summer as our local rivers warm up so much that I dont want to stress the cold water species especially in the Saco.

Im intrigued about the pike in the Pontoock section of the Androscoggin. The president of the fish and game club says they have become rather large in a short time. Flygal and I have discussed floating that section and trying our luck.

Pike fishing in a float tube, I bet that would be a blast. Let me know how that works out for you two.

Smallmouth bass on a fly rod ROCK! I had an enormous one on last month. I thought I was on bottom at first, until my reel started screaming as the bass headed down river. Fought like a 25" striper. Shook me off right as I was about to land it.

Hey Jake I love them smallmouth to . They sure do give a good fight. I used to use little poppers for that top water action. What a blast
